Losing Chin Fat: How to Get Rid of Chin Fat

Having chin fat, or a double chin, can result from being overweight or just having bad posture. Chin fat can be one of the hardest places on the body to lose fat from. Luckily there are a few exercises that help when losing chin fat. Below I have laid out a couple of tips that will teach you how to get rid of chin fat.

Chin fat can be both embarrassing and can make you feel self-conscious around other people, so you definitely want to get rid of it.

One of the best and easiest exercises you can do while losing chin fat is done by opening and closing your mouth. I told you it was easy! This keeps your jaw and chin area exercised. Do at least 15 of these every morning in the mirror. After a while you can add some resistance by putting a tennis ball in between your throat and chin. This should help you lose chin fat faster.

Another exercise that will help you when losing chin fat is done by putting your hand on your forehead and pushing down with your head, but adding resistance with your hand. This is just about as easy as the one above. Doing about 15 of these on top of doing 15 of the above exercise will definitely help you lose chin fat.

Posture is one of the reasons people have double chins, so try to have better posture. Remember to sit up straight with your back flat against the back of the chair. I know this will suck for the first few weeks, but it will definitely help pay off in the end. If you are having trouble you can always look into ergonomic chairs, which will help you sit better in your chair and also help you get rid of chin fat.

Chewing gum is something else that will help you lose chin fat. This is because it will always be keeping your muscles at work. Remember to get sugar free gum or otherwise you may be fighting yourself.

Exercising your entire body is a great way to ensure that you will be losing chin fat. Really the best way to lose fat in a certain area is just to exercise the entire thing. So, get out there and run, walk, lift weights, do whatever it is you need to do to exercise. Go for at least 30 minutes a day, which is recommended.

Burning more calories than you take in is essential when losing chin fat. To do this you will want to reduce the amount of calories you take in. Try not to reduce the amount by more than 500 calories though because that can lead to health issues. Also remember not to eat too many foods with added fats, like butter or mayo. Get more fiber into your diet as well because this will help the body not store as much fat.
